1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information Extoffer collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to everything you do on our website and apps.

2. What we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, payment details (if applicable), and anything you put into a post — budget, requirements, property photos, messages to other users.
• Information collected automatically: device type, browser type, IP address, pages you visit on Extoffer, and approximate location (from IP).
• Information from third parties: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your basic profile info from them (name and email).

3. How we use it

We use your information to run the Service, which means:

• Showing your post or listing to the right people on the other side of the marketplace
• Authenticating you and protecting your account
• Sending transactional emails (offers received, messages, password resets)
• Improving the product (aggregated analytics, debugging, fraud detection)
• Complying with law, preventing abuse, and enforcing our Terms

4. What we never do

We don't sell your personal information to advertisers. We don't run third-party ads in Extoffer. We don't share your email or phone with anyone outside the platform without your explicit consent (for example, when you choose to share it with a specific landlord or renter you're negotiating with).

5. Who sees what

By design:

• Your post or listing is visible to signed-in users on the other side of the marketplace
• Your contact details are only visible to users you're actively negotiating with
• Your email, password, and payment info are never visible to any other user

6. Cookies and similar tech

We use browser storage (localStorage and cookies) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure site usage. You can clear this data anytime from your browser settings. Some features of Extoffer won't work without them.

7. Data retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. Contact us at privacy@extoffer.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

9. Children

Extoffer is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn we've collected personal information from a minor, we'll delete it.

10. International transfers

Extoffer is operated from the United States. If you're accessing the Service from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and limited internal access. No system is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute protection.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we'll notify you. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
